ALPhANOV establishes a new branch in Limoges
Photonics in the New Aquitaine Region expands between Limoges and Bordeaux.
As part of the development of the New Aquitaine Region in the scientific and technical field, a Photonic axis has been built up between Limoges and Bordeaux. This axis makes it possible to group complementary skills with the mutual ambition of promoting research and centralize the actors of Photonics within the Region.
The XLIM Research Institute welcomes ALPhANOV with the aim of intensifying their relations and increasing the level of maturity of Excellence Research carried out in Limoges. The first identified axes of the partnership are currently:
- The development of a 100% French fiber optic network, highlighting the results of ongoing regional and national projects (notably EATLASE funded by the Regional Council of New Aquitaine and 4F funded by the BPI)
- Support for the creation of an innovative and powerful multimodal microscopy platform for bio-photonic applications.
Anthony BERTRAND represents ALPhANOV in Limoges with the goal of developing these new activities. He participates in the support of companies in this environment, in the development of new products and innovative processes requiring a contribution of Photonic technology.
