Launch of the second Summer School: Photonics Talent
Photonics TALENT Summer School
The second International "Photonics TALENT" Summer School will take place from July 15 to 18, 2025 in Bordeaux, France.
This second Summer School will bring together academics and industrial companies, offering European Master's and PhD students the opportunity to explore cutting-edge research in laser source development focusing on industrial, medical and scientific applications.
This year's program will cover the following topics:
- High-Performance Lasers for Industrial Applications
- Lasers in Atom Control and Gravitational Waves Detection
- Lasers for Advancing Medical Applications

This summer school is part of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine Photonics TALENT project led by ALPhANOV, which brings together members of the consortium comprising the ALPHA-RLH competitiveness cluster and photonics leaders such as Amplitude Laser, TOPTICA Photonics and Exail.
The aim of the project is to highlight and raise public awareness of the photonics industry, a fast-growing sector offering a wide range of career opportunities.
